Genesee Conservation League
Youth NRA Basic Rifle Instruction
Spring 2012
Ages 12 - 18 years
This program is intended for the first time, intermediate or advanced level shooter. It will emphasize the fundamentals of gun safety, safe gun handling and marksmanship for .22 Cal rifle with Olympic style coaching and instruction. Students that successfully complete the course will receive a NRA Basic Rifle Safety Certificate. All parents are encouraged and welcome to attend and observe (especially the first two classes); help with administration and setup. This program is sponsored by the Genesee Conservation League and taught by N.R.A. certified instructors. All equipment and supplies are provided but it is recommended that the participant bring their own shooting safety glasses with clear lenses.
